A call for help - Response?
Why should we help people suffering from poverty in other countries, or even continents? Shouldn't they be able to take care of themselves? It's not America's problem, right?
Wrong.
If America was having a downfall, and prices on everything went up so high, few people were even able to afford a loaf of bread, wouldn't you hope that maybe, someone would offer a hand? Why shouldn't we do the same? Would you want YOUR children to be sprawled in the dirt, begging for food in the same clothes they've been wearing for days, or even weeks?
